INFINITE LOOP — Logo Reveal for Podcast Brand
Client: Real client — independent podcast collective
Brief: Create a 5-second logo reveal that feels infinite, fluid and premium. The mark itself merges headphones and infinity loop (d∞b). They had reference colors and concept.
Concept:
A single continuous line. I wanted the logo to be drawable in one unbroken stroke, where the headband becomes the infinity symbol. The crossover point is key — it makes the animation feel seamless and loopable, ideal for podcast intros and social stingers.
Execution:
Built entirely in After Effects. Animated with Thicc Stroke + custom gradient traveling along the path, using Trim Paths (Start / End) for the air-draw effect. Glow achieved without generic plugins — light layer composited in Add mode processed with Extract for a soft premium bloom. Wordmark reveal follows the same stroke logic to keep the system cohesive.
Delivered with SFX (whoosh + soft pop) to work as podcast intro.
Tools: After Effects, Thicc Stroke, Motion Tools Classic, Trim Paths
Deliverables: 4K Master with SFX, 4K Mute, Alpha (transparent), 1080 Loop for socials
CONCEPT — Single Line System
Before opening After Effects, I explored the mark on paper. Goal: one unbroken line that reads as both headphones and infinity loop. Tested earcup shapes, crossover tension and loop weight to ensure it would animate cleanly with Trim Paths. Selected concept maximizes readability at small sizes for podcast covers
